Follow-up / Progress Report

In this phase, the progress of the installation is followed, focusing on the horizontal duct network, connections, and accessories to the ventilation unit, possibly merging with the initial phase, depending on the execution times of the work.

Verification of the Ventilation Network

• Visual Inspection of the Horizontal Network:The correct installation of the horizontal ducts is verified, free of obstructions or visual defects up to the connections of the ventilation group, ensuring optimal airflow. The verification of distribution boxes and duct branches of different airflow (supply-extraction) is crucial for the correct supply and extraction of air from the various areas of the work.
• Ventilation Group:The position and correct connection of the ducts and accessories to the equipment is essential for its operation.
• Duct Connection (Supply and Extraction):Review of the connections between the ducts and the ventilation grilles, verifying their correct alignment and fixation.
• Silencers:Inspection of the placement of silencers to ensure silent operation, minimizing acoustic pollution.
• Condensed Drain Siphons:Correct placement of siphons for the drainage of condensates to avoid accumulations that could affect the malfunctioning of the group, even the possibility of breakage or failure.
• Air Tightness:Ensuring the tightness in the installation, securing any connection between fittings and/or ducts, also with the equipment exits, essential to maintain the performance and proper functioning of the system.
• Supports:Review of the supports of the horizontal duct network, necessary due to the advancement in the installation and new connections.
• Speed Regulators:Correct installation of the speed regulators such as the regulation rings or accessories like MRR are components designed to adjust the airflow passing through the ducts. Their main function is to balance the ventilation system to ensure optimal airflow at every point of the system.

Phase 3

Additional Follow-up Report

The third visit is dedicated to inspecting the visible elements of the system that have been installed subsequently and could not be reviewed in phase 2. It may merge with the second phase, depending on the execution times of the work.

Review of Components and Final Connections

• Duct Connection (Supply and Extraction):Final inspection of the ventilation grilles, ensuring stability and alignment according to the blueprints.
• Sondes:Whenever the project includes them, the correct installation of relative humidity/CO2 probes is verified.
• Regulation System:It is verified that the control unit of the equipment, whenever the project includes it, is correctly installed.
• Other Verifications:Any other point of the system that the technical delegate has considered adding to the document is verified.

Phase 4

Final Work Certificate

The last phase focuses on the Final Certification process of the Work, once the work is finished or the false ceilings and walls are in the final phase.
In this document, all the inspections and tests carried out in previous visits are consolidated, and it is ensured that the installed system complies with all applicable regulations.
Visual elements are verified with the completed work, such as extraction and supply grilles, the unit, the regulation system, or other verifications.

Justification and Compliance with the CTE DB HS3

• Air Quality and Energy Efficiency:Complying with European Directive 2010/31/EU, the system guarantees optimal indoor air quality and reduces energy losses in the building. This ensures that the project complies with the regulations for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB).
• Alignment with the Basic Health Document (CTE DB HS3):This certificate confirms that the installed ventilation system meets the requirements of the Technical Building Code, ensuring air quality in every inhabited space.

Final Measurements and Performance

• Measurement of Airflow in Different Areas:The airflow is measured in various areas of the home, for extraction in humid areas, such as kitchens, bathrooms… and supply in dry areas, like bedrooms, living room, dining room… obtaining detailed data on air flows. These values are evaluated to ensure that they are within the limits set by the Technical Building Code (CTE), as well as balancing the two airflow streams (extraction and supply).
• Acoustic Evaluation:Confirmation that the acoustic level meets comfort regulations, providing a quiet and suitable environment for occupants.

Warranty and After-Sales Support

• The components of the ventilation system come with a three-year warranty, covering any need for adjustments or additional reviews to maintain optimal performance.
