Project Details

Construction of a biopassive house between party walls in the city of Sabadell, thanks to the concept of Blauhaus architecture that follows the philosophy of rehabilitating old English houses from the 19th century. In this case, it has been built with the support of Haus hábitat, which has focused its efforts on Passivhaus standards with the aim of reducing energy consumption.

Therefore, the house in Sabadell was designed to be as airtight and insulated as possible, minimizing thermal bridges to reduce energy expenditure.

The dwelling has an 'A' rating in the energy efficiency certificate, both in CO2 emissions and in renewable primary energy consumption.

Conclusion

The minimal need for air conditioning is covered with renewable energies, specifically photovoltaic solar energy, through panels installed on the roof, and aerothermal energy for hot water.

Additionally, a mechanical ventilation system with energy recovery has been installed, which serves the dual purpose of ensuring good air quality through a wide variety of filters and contributing to energy saving.
